Cyclesolihull rides go ahead unless there is persistant heavy rain (not just showers), very strong winds, snow or ice. Rides are rarely cancelled (5 in 2010 due to snow and ice) but if we feel this is necessary because forecast bad weather we will try and put information about this on the website before the start of the ride.

Cyclesolihull's rides:

Sunday Cycle Rides take place most Sunday afternoons. They are between 5 and 20 miles long, depending on which of the Cyclesolihull routes is being cycled.

Some of these rides are Taster Rides, monthly rides of about 5 miles long. These rides are an ideal introduction to Cyclesolihull rides for new cyclists and families with children. They are just like the other rides but much shorter!

Evening Explorer rides are on selected weekday evenings from early May to mid-August. They following the shorter 'S' routes.

Saturday Stretcher rides are the longest Cyclesolihull rides at about 30 miles. They are at a faster pace than the Sunday and evening rides and there is no fixed route. They are aimed at more experienced cyclists.
